Viral Marketing Analysis




Description


Mums going out on a date and her date arrives to pick her up. Mum introduces her son to the man and he wait in the living room for her to get ready. On her exit out of the room her date checks her out in an obvious manner and her son realise this. You can sense that there will be a confrontation between the son and the mothers date because of how they showed a long shot of the son looking angry and then zoomed into his hand where he drops his game controller. The Date reaches for the Dorritors and is welcomed with a slap from the son.

Description


Starts off with a man pouring Cravendale milk into his bowl of cereal and a cat staring at him from a distance. Then they change the shot back to the man and then back at the cat who is now sitting on the table right in front of him. He then locks the cat outside. Then the cat gains thumbs , and then other cats gain thumbs which is clearly narrated by the voice over. The voice over and the music gradually gets faster along with the shots till it hits the climax where all the cats are standing in the doorway and the comically defends the milk.

The purpose of the advert is to advertise the milk and to illustrate that milk isn't just for cats.
