I’m glad I was able to complete the video profile task on time and received great feedback from my peers who seemed to enjoy my video also. What helped me to write my script and plan my video was Task 2 which had bullet points giving me some ideas to use for my General Introduction video. What I liked about my video was that I was able to incorporate my own photography and video clips of me taking pictures of others which showed my general interest in Photography and editing as well as it being explained in the audio. As well as explaining the career id wish to follow I also gave an example of a photographer who inspires me along with his photos and a short clip of a music he was filmed in taking pictures of the girls ‘Belle Amie’. Although I’m not confident in front of the camera, to improve my video I should have had more footage of me and to also improve on my dialect which would sound nicer in the audio. Next time I would aim to make the video look more professional. Watching other members of the class’s videos made me aware of the extreme lengths people went through and how creative they were. If I had the time to make it more professional I would have learnt how to change the lighting and saturation to make all video footage and video clips too look all the same and I would have made the audio run smoother. To improve on my audio I think using the microphone attached to the voice recorder would sound a lot clearer because when I used the original voice recording kit I could hear the air in the background. A commercially produced video consists of professional sounding audio which is usually engaging and sometimes on one tone, same lighting, the audio and music runs smooth, music in the background sometimes behind the audio or louder without audio and the video sometimes entertains the audience and is very eye catching. I was able to keep the video very eye catching with different pictures and music video clips with artists that most teenagers enjoy along with well known music from the urban chart. Also I made sure that the music behind the audio wasn’t too loud so that you hear me speaking but also could hear the music faintly in the background.
